An Activity for David Carmont’s Glasgow to Carlisle v2 (This activity is dedicated to Mr Tim Court & His colleagues who provided the EH2 Pack) Set in Late 1974 just after the completion of the Electrification of the entire West Coast Mainline The Activity starts as you Approach Motherwell your first stop after having left Glasgow Central at mid-day after this stop you will make further stops at Carstairs, Lockerbie & then on to Carlisle Citadel were your shift & the activity will end. Be aware that you could experience delays after Carstairs as a south bound goods train failed earlier & has caused subsequent delays between there & Carlisle Also Keep your eye out for the odd Class 50 as after the completion of the Electrification meant their days on the WCML were numbered & they would soon all be moved to the western region to replace the about to be withdrawn Western Class 52 Diesel
